I had the chance to use the epifluorescence microscope and found Telophase. I was so excited to see this concept up close. I am using my finger in this image to point to the new daughter cells. I was able to see the DNA by using the tag DAPI because DAPI makes the DNA appear blue. This picture is magnified at 20 X’s, 50 um. I can not wait to show my students this image 🙂
This is so awesome and definitely will be cool to show to your students!
The fact that you’re finding stuff to bring back to your classroom shows you’re doing the program right. That is one of the best parts of the tough summer learning curve. Congrats!
Wow!! That’s awesome! It’s a great feeling to see cells divide (even though that sounds super nerdy!!!).
Does this mean you are one step closer to obtaining results for your project??
No results yet…just my hypothesis. We are preparing the experiment now. I am gaining a better understanding of what I am doing.
This is so awesome Melly! I’m sure your kiddos will love it!
How cool is that! Awesome photo!
Thank you! I was so excited to see this. So, I know my kids will love this too.
Hey Melly,
