And are even more excited to read about the interesting experiences you will be participating in while you complete your internships. I have one more day before it is time to start Nano RET so I better get my sleeping pattern back on schedule.
Yes, ma’am! Although you know with the research you can’t always predict how the experiments are going to go…. so your schedule may be all over the place a little anyway.
Just be ready for the unexpected and have fun!!!!
I had a blast during our orientation!
I’m already planning to use all the information shared and the hands-on activities we used in my classroom.
I hope everybody had a great start today; I had it!
Today I used the X-ray diffractometer to analyze my materials to find the fingerprint of the materials using the crystal structure plus the lattice constant.
Hey Daniel! Yes, orientation was very informative. I am ready to share the assignment where we used the Lego blocks. I can not wait to see the output from my students.
Today was exciting, I washed embryonic stem cells. I had to wash them twice and then scrap them from the bottom of the dish. I used an enzyme, Dipase, to weaken their bonds because they were holding on something tightly. I was able to see them with the naked eye as well. Real research at Rice.
